YaVaughnie R. Wilkins is the founder and CEO of YaVaWi Enterprises, the umbrella entity to three companies she formed and has been working under since 2006. Her intellectual property company currently has several patent pending products registered with the U.S. Patent Office. Since 2006, Ms. Wilkins has independently invented and has been developing a variety of personal use products. In 2010, Ms. Wilkins formed a literary company with several products in the pipeline. Lastly, Ms. Wilkins has an advocacy company where Wilkins hosts and accepts speaking engagements surrounding topics that she has knowledge and interest such as politics, children’s rights, relationships and advocating change to the alimony laws throughout the United States.

Prior to founding YaVaWi Enterprises, Ms. Wilkins proudly wore the U.S. Air Force uniform while serving her country as a reservist. She also engaged in several years of grass roots political outreach for campaigns such as Clinton-Gore 1996 re-election, Charlie King for NY Lieutenant Governor, Hillary Clinton for Senate and Al Gore for President. Ms. Wilkins directly participated in the recount effort in West Palm Beach Florida during the 2000 Bush v. Gore debacle.

Ms. Wilkins holds a Bachelor’s Degree in journalism from San Francisco State University and attended San Francisco Law School. Wilkins has worked as a paralegal at various law firms throughout New York City, San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Ms. Wilkins served as a board member of National Women's Political Caucus, a non-political organization that sought out, encouraged and assisted women of all political affiliations to run for public office.
